With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty A. Olafson (Fargo, North Dakota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys McDonald and James McDonald; her husband Bob; and her siblings, Marvin, Georgie, Irene, Gordon and Linda.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Macey Andvik (Matt) of Fargo, Cody Furstenau (Caitlin) of Oxbow, Nikki Kearns (Jon) of Grand Forks, Kayce Halley (Gabe) of Durbin, Krissy of Bismarck and Zach Aasen of Bismarck; her siblings, John (Sandy) of Idaho and Joyce Trottier (Jack) of Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Roger (Marilyn), Curtis Olafson, Junie Doyle and Judy McDonald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many extended family.
Memorials can be made to the Mountain Community Center, Vikur LCW, Thingvalla Eyford Cemetery, or a charity of your choice.
