He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy. He is survived by: his children, Kristine Kappel (Ben Gembler) of San Diego, Patrick Kappel (Grace) of San Diego and Liz Kappel of Mandan, ND; his grandchildren, Sophia, Talyia, Cooper and Kordell; his father Herb; and his brothers, John, Jim and Mike.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (710 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103).
