He is survived by: his children, Kristi Skyberg (Jeff) of East Grand Forks, MN, Chad Bakken (Patty) of Devils Lake, ND and Karla Riley (Mike) of Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Rylee Hallaway (Nolan) of Blaine, MN, Macy Skyberg of Fargo, ND, Dylan Bakken of Fargo, ND, Kaitlyn Bakken of Fargo, ND and Noah Riley of Fargo, ND; his great grandchild Beckham Hallaway; his brother Harold Bakken (Roberta) of Huntsville, AL; his sister-in-law Sharon Bakken of Hawley, MN; and his caregiver Cal. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
