It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Schmidt in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill "Willie" Woodhouse and Ethel Woodhouse; and her husband Cletus "Skipper" Schmidt. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan McGuire (Chuck) of Fargo, ND and Paula; her grandchildren, Molly McGuire, Megan McGuire, Joshua Mullen, Zachary Mullen, Sydney Brude and Colin Brude; and her great grandchildren, Berit, Austin and Fennec.
In lieu of cards or flowers, the family requests donations be made to your local animal shelter in memory of Carol's love for her cats.
