Buettner; her siblings, Marjorie Murphy (Thomas), James Stapleton (Selina), Vincent Stapleton, Mary Ellen Zabel (Earl) and Betty Jo Wilhelmi (Henry); and her in-laws, Raymond Buettner (Wilma), Marie Gronning (Neal), Bernard Buettner (Ramona), Richard Buettner (Monica), Lawrence Buettner (Helen), Leo Buettner (Anita), Eileen Knuckey (Edward), Donald Buettner (Karen), Mark Buettner, Elizabeth Lois Bower (Donald) and Boyd Shaw.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Buettner Christensen, Mary Alice Buettner, Steven Buettner, Kelly Buettner-Schmidt (Joseph) and Cathleen Buettner-Haugen (Earl); her grandchildren, Michael Zimmer, Devin Christensen, Megan Schmidt Crist (John), Marlee Schmidt Olson (Kody), Josie Schmidt, Ian Haugen (Adrian) and Emma Haugen; her great grandchildren, Amelie Olson, Freya Haugen, Wrenley Haugen and Josephine Crist; her sisters, Leah Martin and Geraldine Olson (Ronald); and her sisters-in-law, Ursula Shaw and Crystal Buettner-Jones.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home (21 3rd Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701). A prayer was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (2600 W Central Ave, Minot, ND 58703).
