With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles K. Ritterman (Fargo, North Dakota), born in Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Ritterman and Iona Ritterman (Rude); his siblings, James Ritterman, Phillip Ritterman (Buddy), Anne Britsch (Susie), Frank Ritterman (Frankie) and Ronald Ritterman (Ronnie); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Nybo, Derrel Britsch, Darrell Hammer, Kory Ford, Judy Ritterman, Carol Ritterman and Karen Ulery.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Kevin and Kent; his wife Judi Ritterman (Hammer); his children, Kristin Scalzo (Matthew), Kevin (Courtney) and Kent (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Samuel, Sarah Scalzo, Lauren, Jake Ritterman, Jack and Emma Ritterman; and his siblings, Leland Ritterman and Janet Nybo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his honor to First Lutheran Church or Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, a place that was close to his heart.
