He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hatfield and Golda Hatfield (Howard); his wife Geraldine Jeffers of Savior's Lutheran Church; his son Greg Hatfield; and his siblings, Maurice Hatfield, Merle Hatfield (Lucille), Shirley Berg (Jerome), Don Hatfield and Charles Hatfield.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Hatfield of Moorhead, Minnesota, Constance "Connie" Quiram (Bob) of Elk River, Minnesota and Steve Hatfield (Kathy) of Moorhead, Minnesota; his daughter-in-law Sheree Jo Hatfield of Fargo; and his grandchildren, Rob Hatfield (Kari), Jesica Hatfield, Courtney Hatfield, Charles Quiram (Nicole), Jennifer Swantz, Rebecca Hatfield and Trey Hatfield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Caledonia Cemetery or Sanford Hospice House in Fargo ND.
