It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dalice Joyce Ebsen of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dalice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dalice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Halvorson (Fred) and Hannah Halvorson; her son Christopher Ebsen; and her grandson Chris Ebsen (Lee). She is survived by: her spouse Lee Ebsen; and her children, Cheryl Jordheim (Roger), Randy Ebsen, Leslie Burgess (Harry), Jamie Viker (late Scott), Jon Ebsen and Scott Ebsen (Michelle). She is also survived by her six children, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In honor of Dalice, donations can be given to the upkeep of the Walcott Cemetery and Veterans Memorial, Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fargo, or St. Benedict's Cemetery in Wild Rice, ND, where Dalice will be laid to rest.
