He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo O'Day and Elizabeth O'Day (Hopkins); and his siblings, John, Pat O'Day and Betts Gallagher.
He is survived by: his children, Susan O'Day, Peggy Heglie-Kilbane, Jim O'Day, Jean Gottenborg, Anne Paton and Tiffany Johnson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
