He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Bertha Schutz, Francis and Virginia Fosteson; and his nephew Daniel Austin Schutz.

He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Schutz and Mary Schutz (Fosteson) of Detroit Lakes, MN.; and his nieces and nephews, David, Amanda, Ericka, Sarah, Jessica, Jacob and Elijah. He is also survived by spouses and children; and many dear friends.
