She was predeceased by: her parents, Detlaf Mumm and Palma Mumm (Thorsen) of Wahpeton, ND.; her husband Larry Gehler; her daughters, Rachel and Rebecca; her grandson David Hallman; her son-in-law Chris Myrold; and her close friend Jerome Hoffman of Browns Valley, MN.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Myrold, Lorrie Hervey (Michael), Brenda Hintze (Chris), Colleen Bakewell (Tim) and Dayton Gehler (Theresa); her grandchildren, Lisah Hallman, Amanda Loeffelbein (Dan), John Hallman, Elizabeth Janssen (Brett), Steven Hervey (Dana), Paul Hervey (Jayante), Harrison Hintze, Victoria Bakewell, Vanessa Bakewell, Lucas Bakewell, Damien Gehler (Sophie) and Quinn Gehler; and her siblings, Dale Mumm (Bonnie), Paulette Ness, Paul Mumm (Elizabeth) and Linda Anderson (Carl). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vertin-Munson Funeral Home (224 6th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58074). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (206 School St, Great Bend, ND 58075). A burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (601 11th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58075).
