It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Fred Rasmusson of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rasmusson and Ethel Rasmusson (Basford); and his brother-in-law Keith Papachek. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Berneking of Fargo, ND; his daughters, Tara Rasmusson of Fargo, ND and Amber Hoffert (Jessica) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Danielle McCoy, Taylor Rasmusson, Lorelai Hoffert, Sawyer Rasmusson, Callie Hoffert and Nathan Hoffert; and his siblings, Shirley Berg (Paul) of Fargo, ND, William Rasmusson (Sharon) of Arlington Heights, IL and Stella Papachek of Devils Lake, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
