He was predeceased by: his son Arnold; and his brother Marvin. He is survived by: his children, Ernestine Lepper (Wayne), Hawley, Renate Marquette (Rich Curfman) and Manfred Mark; his grandchildren, Justin Marquette (Kirsten Henagin), Alexander Marquette and Lindsey Adolphsen (Kolten); his sister Irene Martin; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Azzam (Roger) and Kuni Joa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was also a dedicated volunteer & blood donor for United Blood Services reaching the 20-gallon blood donation club – which is quite feat.
