He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Roesler and Irene Roesler (Suedel); his adoptive father Jim "Julius" Offermann (Karen); his former wife Zona Chrest; his son Tyler; his siblings, Phyllis Taylor (Dick) and LD Roesler; his brothers-in-law, Orville Ellwin and Neil Wiltse (Marlene); and his stepgrandchildren, Jesse and Jordan Simon.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Koenig Nelson; his sons, Scott (Lori) and Barry (Brenda); his grandchildren, Courtnie Roesler (Zach Laude), Kelsey Roesler (Jeremy Holm) and Judd Roesler (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Avree Roesler and Kasen Holm; his siblings, Ruby Ellwein and Dennis "Rick" Roesler (Deb); and his children, Erin and Rylee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
