We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020, at the age of 91, Elaine Hanson (Fargo, North Dakota), born in Arthur, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Mergner and Myrtle Mergner (Jenson); her husband Clayton Hanson; her siblings, Don, Duane, Lucille and Lois; and her children, Roger, Karen and Robert.

She is survived by: her sister Marian; and her children, Nancy Rood (Wayne), Ron (Janet), Diane (Steve) and Randy. She is also survived by 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 7 great-grandchildren.

“I was saddened to hear of elaine hanson's passing. She was a dear friend living in the same place that i live. She was active in our quilting group; always with a smile on her face eager to begin tying knots in our quilting ministry at church. She and i gathered together once a month to spend time in prayer for some prayer needs of people less fortunate from our church. She was a very pleasant person, always with a smile on her face. Sending my sympathy to her children.”
