He is survived by: his wife Debra Samek (Anderson) of Harwood; his children, Denise Lowry (Samek) of Springfield, OR, Wade Samek of Valley City, ND, Edward Samek (Jana) of West Fargo, ND and Renee Lura (Cory) of Austin, TX; and his brother Vitres Samek (Sara). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
