George Clarence Grindberg Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Clarence Grindberg of Fargo, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grindberg and Elizabeth Grindberg (Lutes); his brother James Grindberg; and his great grandchild Hayden George. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mae Swanson; his children, Debra Wogsland (Dan), Rodney Grindberg (Lorie), Denise Peck (Steve), Deanne Drummond (Jim) and Diane Harrum; his grandchildren, Amber Wogsland (Torry Reutter), Adam Wogsland (Coley), Aric Wogsland, Lisa Grindberg, Thomas Grindberg, Sharlynn Knutson (Devin), Scot Peck (Jessica) and Chloe Drummond; his great grandchildren, Riley, Brantley, Henley, Hadalyn and Quinn; his sister Frances Yokom; and his sister-in-law Shirley Grindberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center (321 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the West Funeral Home (321 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN or Sanford Fargo Hospice House.
