He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels G Johnson and Ruth Hallendbeck Johnson. He is survived by: his son Nels Christian (Eileen); his wife Janice Benson; his son Christian Fargo (Denise); his grandchildren, Stefan, Marget, Magnus and Gunnar; and his sister Margot Johnson (Bogdan Lenkiewicz) of New York, NY.
George would appreciate donations to the ND diabetes association for the benefit of Camp Sioux or the Indians Into Medicine Program (InMed) at UND for Native American medical students.
