He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hollenkamp of Fargo; his daughter Jennifer Deutz (Tim); his granddaughter Vanessa Fettig (Cody); his great grandchildren, Troy Deutz (Elizabeth), Vincent, Harvey, Max Deutz, Abby Ihrke and Eden Gillund (Hunter); his daughter Amy O'Hare; his granddaughter Savannah O'Hare (Sean Mello); his daughter Annie Oelker (David); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Oelker, Aaron Oelker, Eli Oekler, Maria Oelker and Andrew Oelker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Hospice of the Red River Valley, or Rape and Abuse Crisis Center of Fargo.
