He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Harrington and Ruth Harrington; his son Ronn Harrington; his brothers, David and Roger Harrington; and his grandparents, Violet Taylor, George and Sadie Harrington.
He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie and Angie; his wife Sharon of Moorhead, MN; his daughter Tina Lecy (Ben); his grandchildren, Tianna, Connor, Tanner and Emily; his sister Natalie Nielsen (Josh); his grandchildren, Riley, Cora of Kindred, ND, Angie Heiden (Scott) and Caleb of West Fargo, ND.; and his brother Richard Harrington (Cathy) of Richmond, KY.
In 2004, he was recognized with an award for his outstanding contribution to serving North Dakota's children and families by Lutheran Social Services.
