She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon E. Hanson and Geneva Dahl Hanson; her husband Clarence "Ed"; her children, Sheila Perry, Marshall, Keith and Michael; her grandson Kevin Kemppanion, Jr.; and her siblings, Allen, Gordon Hanson, Mary Ann and Bonnie June Hanson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rev. Marsha Burt (Michael) and Cheryl Kemppanion (Kevin); her granddaughters, Charlene Ramler (Jason), Kathleen Speckhardt (Brent) and Kimberly Kemppanion; and her great grandchildren, Caelan Ramler, Katija and Anja Speckhardt.
