With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon F. Schmitz of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on May 16, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schmitz and Gladys Schmitz (Woiwode); his sisters, Virginia (Wendell Langendorfer), Phylis (James Stamness), Jane (Orville Nold) and Mercedes (Arnold Swenson); his daughter Deborah; and his sons-in-law, Lou Flanders, Peter Differding and David Green. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to Veterans Association or your favorite charity in honor of Gordon.
