He is survived by: his parents, Gary Simonson and Faith Simonson; his spouse Lyndsey Patnaude; his daughter Claire Rae; his brother Greg Simonson; his sister-in-law Noelle McComb Simonson; his grandmother Betty Simonson; his aunts and uncles, Rich (Dede Kolotkin), Leslie Pender, Jerry (Debbie Nordby), Ron (Becky Day), Jon (Brenda Simonson) and Steve (Chris Anderson); his cousins, Adam Nordby (Ellie), Seth Simonson (Ashley), Amanda Nordby, Chloe Simonson, Luke Simonson, Rachel Day, Ali Terriff and Ada Solidar; his great-grandparents, Henry, Ellen Haugen and Mina Simonson; his grandparents, Fritz Simonson, Duane Hiney and Audrey Neff Hiney; his uncle Dewayne "Slice" Lesmeister; and also Claire.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Claire Simonson education fund, C/O Gary Simonson or [email protected].
