She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brodeur and Dora Brodeur (Leveque); her siblings, Lawrence, Phil, Paul, Edward, Peter, Baby Joe Brodeur and Theresa Brodeur Pariseau; the father of her children Kenneth E. Kleven; and her stepson David L. Zahn.

She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth E. Kleven; her husband Jacob T. Zahn; her children, Jodi Mattson (Greg) of Grand Forks, ND, Keith Kleven (Allie) of Gold Canyon, AZ, Steven Kleven of Fargo, ND and Mary Kay Powers of Centerville; her stepchildren, Tonya Murphy (Kevin) of Grand Forks and Cinthia Pederson of Wahpeton, ND; and her siblings, Mary Jean Hanson of Rosemont, MN, Mae Urlaub (Bob) of West Fargo, ND and Robert Brodeur (Jill) of York. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Family Church, Grand Forks or Hospice of the Red River Valley, Fargo, ND.
