James Alger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Alger in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. Kenneth Alger and Jean Nicholson. He is survived by: his brother Robert; his former wife Virginia Spitzer; his wife JoAnn; his grandsons, Jack, Otto and Max; and also, Doug, Julie (Mark), Stuart (Patricia) and Rich (Tina).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (1710 5th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
