He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Bokinskie and Pauline Bokinskie (Vollmer); his sister Patricia Coval; and his grandson Anthony Bokinskie. He is survived by: his wife Maribeth Gebhart; his children, Charles Bokinskie (Barb), Bruce Bokinskie (Jean), Lynne Ridgway (Jim) and Kerri Harkness (Tim); his grandchildren, Michael Bokinskie (Sophie), Christopher Bokinskie (Melody), Katherine Evans (Tyson), Kirsten Bokinskie, Andrew Ridgway, Madeline Harkness (Jens Hagstrom) and Nicholas Harkness; and his great grandchildren, Vada, Gemma, Penelope, Kiara, Payten, Ana, Mila Bokinskie and Remy Evans.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethany Retirement Living (Fargo), Hospice of the Red River Valley (Fargo), or St Joseph's Indian School (Chamberlain, SD).
