James Cochran Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cochran of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping James' spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cochran and Barbara Cochran (Stewart); his wife Marcella Cochran; and his sister Marjory Steenerson. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Carl (Cindy) of Grand Forks, ND, Kim Terry (Joni) of Fargo, ND and Jacqueline Olson of Erskine, MN. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
