He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Christine Kieffer, Clark Kieffer and Jasmine Hanson; his parents, Eugene Kieffer and Claire Kieffer (Sonsalla); his siblings, Bernadette Kieffer, Donald, Bonnie, Charlene Fyten (Marvin) and Peter Kieffer (Joan); and his stepmother Geri Tehrfer Kieffer.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Kieffer (Mills); his children, Michael Kieffer, Cynthia McConniel (Michael), Steven Kieffer (Sandy), Danielle Kieffer, Amy Burke (Alex), Gina Kieffer (Andrew Dunn), Paul Kieffer (Jennifer), William Kieffer (Emily), Holly Kieffer (Eric Almberg) and Sara Sanders (Steven); his siblings, Leo Kieffer (Alexia), Ralph, Harold Kieffer (Kathy), Lillian Eberhardt (Michael), John Kieffer and Marilyn; and also Jim. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
