She was predeceased by: her parents, Swen Grotte and Annie Grotte (Sund); her husbands, Verle Burdick and Beryl Carlson; her siblings, Edna Burchill, Stanley Grotte, Jennings Grotte, Marvin Grotte and Ernest Grotte; her grandsons, Bradley Myers and Craig Myers; and her stepgranddaughter Shelli Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Myers (Alvin) of Ryder, ND, Eldon Burdick (Jennifer) of Kindred, ND and Elona Overby (Bruce) of Binford, ND; her grandchildren, Mitch Burdick (Amy) of West Fargo, ND, Ty Burdick (Janelle) of Leonard, ND, Tasha Overby of Binford, ND, Tanner Overby (Megan) of Binford, ND and Trey Overby of Binford, ND; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, Savannah, Kennedy, Julianna Myers, James, Hilde, Hattie Burdick, Ensley and Ciena Burdick; her siblings, Jon Grotte (Helen), Walter Grotte (Donna) and Fern Hansen (Tom); her stepchildren, Larry Carlson (Larene), Craig Carlson (April), Arvey Carlson (Jane), Curtis Carlson, Cheryl Woods (Paul) and Carolyn Henderson (Jim); and her caregiver Lexy. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boulger Funeral Home (123 10th St S, Fargo, ND 58103). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
