He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Aho and Hilja Aho (Maisio); and his in-laws, Frank and Elvira DeWandeler. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia DeWandeler; his sons, Andy (Becky), Jeremy (Amanda) and Adam (Jolene); and his grandchildren, PJ (Audrey), Jeremiah, Melody, Christian, Liv, Eli, Collin, Lindsey and Gavin. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church (46913 MN-34, Osage, MN 56570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
