With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Nelson of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Gwinner, North Dakota, who passed away on August 3, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Nelson and Frances Nelson (Miller); his son Jeffrey Craig Nelson; his close friend MaryAnn Vise; and his siblings, Dianne, Doug and Gloria.
He is survived by: his brother Kenneth Nelson (Jean); his wife Janice Irene Thompson; his daughters, Pamela Jane Kinslow (Nelson) and Lara LeAnn Danielson (Nelson); his stepchildren, Rick Vise (Sue), Jim Vise and Kathy Soffett (Steve); and his pet Amber (Honey Bunny). He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
