JoAnn M. Hennum Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn M. Hennum of Fargo, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2026 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of JoAnn M. Hennum to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Nelson and Thelma Nelson (Larson); her husband Merle Hennum; her brother Allen Nelson; and her grandson Cody Hennum.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Hennum (Margaret) and Todd Hennum (Stacy); her brothers, Gerald Nelson (Carolyn), Jerome Nelson (Kathy) and Richard Nelson; and her grandchildren, Claire Hennum, Amelia Hennum, Anna Hennum, Sadie Wark, Sienna Wark and Brevin Wark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
JoAnn also generously served her community through the American Cancer Society, the Kittson County Historical Society, and the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Auxiliary.
