We are sad to announce that, on October 20, 2021, at the age of 85, John Manesis of Fargo, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dale, Pete and Danny; and his siblings-in-law, Dina and Harry Bomar.

He is survived by: his wife Bess Davis Manesis; his children, Mary, Stephanie, George (Tanya) and Peter (Lisa); his siblings, George (Georgia) and JoAnn; his sisters-in-law, Stacey Manesis, Chris Manesis and Mary Bomar; and his goddaughter Simbo Legesse. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

“John was such a dear man. We met him at Papa Dan's at Sun City Palm Desert at breakfast. He was having his breakfast and reading his newspaper. We got to know him and learn from him. We valued the time with him and getting his opinions. We saw him most mornings and would visit over coffee. We then got to meet Bess. He will be missed by those of us here in Sun City.
