It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kent O. Hochgraber (Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Hochgraber and Audrey Hochgraber; and also, Raymo and Merle Mehus. He is survived by: his wife Marjory Mehus of Fargo, ND; his daughters, Jill (Ricki Garner) of Fargo, Jessica of Fargo and Erika of Fargo; his brother Keith Hochgraber (Pat) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his nephews, Joshua Hochgraber (Amy) of Detroit Lakes, MN and Benjamin (Cara) of Ramona, SD; his niece Katie Lilly (Charles) of Springfield, TN.; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Mehus, Myrna Mehus, Marsha Hopkins, Ramona Asmus (Bob), Lori Mehus, Ron Mehus (Mary) and Randy Mehus (Christy).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (3636 25th St S, Fargo, ND 58104). A prayer was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He served on The Fargo Public School's Development Foundation and was a long-term member of Hope Lutheran Church and The Galesburg American Legion.
