He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Hochgraber and Audrey Hochgraber; and also, Raymo and Merle Mehus. He is survived by: his wife Marjory Mehus of Fargo, ND; his daughters, Jill (Ricki Garner) of Fargo, Jessica of Fargo and Erika of Fargo; his brother Keith Hochgraber (Pat) of Detroit Lakes, MN; his sibling's children, Joshua Hochgraber (Amy) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Benjamin (Cara) of Ramona, SD and Katie Lilly (Charles) of Springfield, TN.; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Mehus, Myrna Mehus, Marsha Hopkins, Ramona Asmus (Bob), Lori Mehus, Ron Mehus (Mary) and Randy Mehus (Christy).
He served on The Fargo Public School's Development Foundation and was a long-term member of Hope Lutheran Church and The Galesburg American Legion.
