He was predeceased by: his parents, Kline Nelson and Anita Nelson (Rainy); his mother-in-law Dorcas; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth, Les McKay and Greg Haring.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Mousseau, Lyn Haring, Mary and Paul Molick. He is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
For the last five years Larry lived with Alzheimer's Disease.
