He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvin Olsgard and Esther Olsgard (Otterson); and his son-in-law Sam Gillette. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mertz; his daughters, Wendy Olsgard of Fargo, ND, Patti Gillette of Reno, NV and Stacy Mead of Walcott, ND; his grandsons, Jordan Mead (Katrina) of Casselton, ND and Brant Mead of Walcott, ND; his great grandchild Tucker Mead; and his sister Carolyn Miranne (William) of Phoenix, AZ..
