She is survived by: her parents, Roger Willits and Margaret Willits; and her close friend Josh Rutten of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

When her position was closed during the COVID pandemic, Lori transitioned to a Jailor for the Cass County Sheriff's Department.
