In loving memory of Lyle Rasmussen of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Moorhead, Minnesota, who departed this world on August 7, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Rasmussen and Alice Rasmussen (Brodigan); his son Robert "Robbie" Rasmussen; his parents-in-law, LaVonne and Robert "Bob" Evans; his brother Tom Rasmussen; his niece Amanda Rasmussen (Beaner); his brothers-in-law, Jim Kava and Steve Evans; his nephew Troy Armistead; and his close friends, Lanny Larson and Tim Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Rasmussen (Evans) of Joseph's Catholic Church; his daughters, Lisa Henkel (Andy) and Jamie Horpedahl (Ron); his grandchildren, Courtney Melkert (Brandon Houska), Gregory Melkert (Alena), Skylar and Amanda Horpedahl; his siblings, Emily Armistead (Bill), Patricia Hearn (Dale), Linda Kava, Connie Kubitz (Darryl), Barb Rasmussen (Dale Johnson), Joanne Bjorem (Dave), Nick Rasmussen (Cheryl) and Bill Rasmussen (Kirsten); and his sisters-in-law, Julie Ellingson (Gary) and Patricia Longhenry. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
