She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Ardine and Margaret Sandberg (Watson); and her husband Clarence L. Slaathaug. She is survived by: her son Paul Douglas Slaathaug (Caela) of Fargo, ND; her stepdaughters, Pollianne Rowland (Steve) of Fishers, IN and Julianne Sheeks of Fishers, IN; her grandson Zakary L. Slaathaug (Saige M. Slaathaug); her stepgrandchildren, Kenneth Slaathaug (Jaimee) of Bismarck, ND, Lynn Slaathaug Moen (Charlie) of Mayville, ND, Kyle Slaathaug (Taylor) of Grand Forks, ND, Laura Slaathaug Hawley (Keegan) of Grand Forks, ND, Andrew Rowland of Lebanon, IN, Jayna Jones (Jared) of Evansville, IN, Emily Nixon of Fishers, IN and Kristina O'Connor (Matt) of Fishers, IN; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Aydan, Nathan O'Connor, Ella Nixon, Jett Jones, Charlie, Helen Moen, Amelia Slaathaug, Sawyer, Isla and Jace Slaathaug; and her close friend Fran Bertheuson.
Memorials are requested to be directed to St Paul's Free Lutheran in Fargo, Karlstad Cemetery, Fargo Elim, and Thompson American Legion.
