She was predeceased by: her parents, William Newton and Julia Newton (Saice); her husband Dennis Sather; her son Kim Kinslow; her granddaughter Stacey Sandeen; and her siblings, Leonard, Vernon, William, Paul, Bob, Ernie, Frank, Edith, Mary and June.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Soberg, Lorraine Barsness, David Sather (Deb), Dennis Jr. Sather (Tanya), Mary Pearson and Debra Kinslow; her sister Ada Jorgenson; her sister-in-law Gloria Newton; and her grandchildren, Donovan, Jamie, Ryan Kinslow, Kenny Larson (Downey), April Bocek (Libor), Twyla Anderson, Shawn Gruel, Michelle Sather, Thomas Sather (Jenna), Kiara Edwards, Tavia Koering, Josh Sather, Hayden, Bree, Ian and Corey Sandeen. She is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
