With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlys E. Hareland of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner John Schuler and Marcella Mary Schuler (Helten); her husband Donald Hareland; her son Thomas; her brother Alphonse Schuler; and her sisters-in-law, Pam Schuler and Sharon Schuler.
She is survived by: her sons, David Hareland of Moorhead, MN and Steven Hareland (Autumn) of Horace, ND; and her siblings, Jim Schuler (Carol) of Devils Lake, ND, Duane Schuler of Munich, ND and Arlene Adahl (Bob) of Devils Lake, ND.. She is also survived by her six granddaughters; two great-granddaughters.
