She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jahnke and Mary Jahnke (Wilkins); her husband Dr. Frederick Walsh; and her sisters, Charlotte Hovey (Egil), Margaret Straley (Guy), Ila Coon (Harvey) and Norine Lussenden (Lowell).
She is survived by: her stepdaughter-in-law Terri Walsh; her stepsons, Frederick Walsh (Jeanne) of St. Paul, MN, David Walsh and Daytona; her stepgrandchildren, Andrew Walsh (Jennica) of Madison, WI, Heather Frazier (Jim) of Paonia, CO, Nicholas Walsh of Alexandria, VA, Elias Walsh (Tova) of Madison, WI and Emily Thomas (Paul) of Anchorage, AK; and her sibling's children, Robert Hovey of Scottsdale, AZ, Kathryn Hovey (Tom Staples) of Mesa, AZ, Carol Beaton (Michael) of Fargo, ND, Randall Coon (Debbie) of Fargo, ND, Candace Schultz (David) of Fargo, ND, Loraine Hendley (Craig) of Eagan, MN, Lois Anfinrud (Mark) of Fargo, ND, Lavonne Evenson of Burnsville, MN and Roger Lussenden (Sue) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren, 9 nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and nephews; and 21 great-great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boulger Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial are preferred to the Pioneer House or to the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County (Hjemkomst Center).
