He was predeceased by: his brother Troy Michael Ellison; his grandparents, Clyde, Myrtle Ellison, Eddie, Marian Zick and Gary Woodward; his father-in-law James Gefroh; his brother-in-law Jesse Kemmer; and his close friend Landon Solberg.
He is survived by: his father Jim Ellison; his wife Stefanie Ellison; his children, Landyn Sara and Beckett James; his mother Sandy Woodward (Zick); his sister Staci Birrenkott (Dave); his mother-in-law Marcia Kemmer (Vance); his siblings-in-law, Chad Gefroh, Jake Kemmer, Jenna Kemmer and Sabrina Kemmer; his nieces and nephews, Chris, Josh, Drew Birrenkott, Taylor, Sydney Gefroh, Leona Reitan and Abigail Kemmer; and his great-niece Charlotte Gefroh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Landyn and Beckett, whose accounts have been established at Bell Bank in memory of Matt.
