He was predeceased by: his mother Chieko Ota (Yanoshige). He is survived by: his father Raymond Mareto; his wife Charlene Domier Ota; and his pet Catherine Ota Ayabe (Clyan Ayabe). He is also survived by sister; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; an aunt and uncle on his father.
