He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole and Gunhild; his daughter Garilyn; his grandson-in-law Mark; and his brother Allen.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Jerry (Sandy), Jane (Loren), Jim (Tess) and Corey (Melinda); his grandchildren, Alyssa (Tom), Kim (John), Jason (Jenny), Carina, Jared (Andrea), Brent (Shelley), Jeremy, Christopher (Jessica), Tyler and Tanner; and his sisters, Elsie Olson and Hjurdis Baeth. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Due to Covid, the family will be having a private family funeral service.
