He is survived by: his children, Robert Swanson of West Fargo, ND and Tammie Pierce (Brad) of Hatton, ND; his grandchildren, Brenden Swanson of Henderson, NV, Amanda Vingelen of Grand Forks, ND, Brett Pierce of Sabin, MN, Briannah Krump (Nathan) of Hankinson, ND and Trevor Pierce (Alex Richards) of Fargo, ND; his great grandchildren, Sophia Vingelen, Allyson Pierce, Madelynn and Jocelynn Krump; and his brother Cal Swanson (Margaret) of Vancouver, WA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
