He was predeceased by : his parents, Palmer Strand and Elizabeth Strand (Swanston). He is survived by : his wife Shirley Sakshaug; his son Jake; his brothers, Pat Strand (Patty), Lindsey Lacroix and Pete Strand; his uncle Bill Brown; and his aunts, June Sakshaug and Erma. He is also survived by numerous cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
