Gillig of Grand Forks, ND; his siblings, Edward Gillig (Lynne) of Billings, MT, Michael Gillig (Gayle) of Aurora, IL and Jane Gillig (Doug Flom) of Bismarck, ND; and his nieces and nephews, Edward Gillig (Becca), Paul Gillig, Sarah Hoekstra (Zach Stromsodt), Leah Hoekstra and John Hoekstra. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
