It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis G. Thurlow of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Ferrie (Nelson) and Kenneth Ferrie; her husband Joel Thurlow of Fargo, ND.; and her brother David Ferrie. She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Lebo (Thurlow); her grandsons, Jake Lebo and Josh Lebo of Algonquin; and her brothers, Curt Ferrie (Marilyn), Lynn Ferrie (Linnae) and Larry Ferrie (Teresa).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (1011 12th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Fargo National Cemetery (8709 40th Ave NW, Harwood, ND 58042).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to City of Hope to support innovative research focused on curing and treating pancreatic cancer.
