He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Anderson; his children, Michael Mewes (Melisa) of Belle Plaine, MN, Matthew Mewes (Erin) of Northfield, MN and Holly Martin (Kelly) of Fargo, ND.; his grandchildren, Noah Mewes, Sophie Kompelien (Jack), Jackson Mewes, Josephine Mewes, Emmy Mewes, Zachary Mewes and Alayna Martin; his brothers, Ralph Mewes (Melanie) and Raymond Mewes (Barbara); and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Anderson (Chris), Doug Anderson (Pandy) and Richard Anderson (Catherine).
